In terms of restructuring thinking, affirmations and repetition are key elements. If you have told yourself 70,000 times that you are “no good” or “not worthy,” it will take many repetitions of an expression of worth such as “I am a Divine Worth,” or “I am perfect just as I am,” or “I am God,” in order to reorganize what is running in the subconscious mind.

One of my teacher and guides used to say that each positive thought eliminates 10 negative thoughts. So if you have over the years repeated something 70,000 times, you need 7,000 repetitions of the affirmation in order to reprogram the subconscious mind. Another one of my guides used to repeat her affirmations when she would go jogging for a half hour. If you repeat the affirmation 10 times a minute you will have thought the affirmation 300 times in a half-hour workout. If you do that daily for two months you will have said it 18,000 times. Then you will notice the impact. It will have begun to sink in. You will dream about it. It will become part of the mental wiring in your brain.

The point is not to just think differently. The point is that the new way of thinking allows you to integrate and stay in the experience of Being more. It reflects more closely the truth of life. It allows you to integrate in the experience of Being and refer back to it more consciously. It hastens the integration process.
