The Ultimate Form of Gratitude

Savoring is a great way to give gratitude for the beauty that is in our life every day.

Set a simple goal. Choose three times day to stop and savor the moment. Below is a list of common starting places to begin your savoring. After a while savoring becomes a habit and can have an amazing impact on the body!

Savoring Directions:

This should be done for 15 seconds or more. 

  1. 1. Place your hand over the center of your chest (this step is optional).
  2. 2. Close your eyes and experience the beauty of the moment you are experiencing. If applicable get the senses involved. Truly taste it. Feel it. Hear it.
  3. 3. Visualize the energy of the moment entering the body and resonating in the heart. How you experience this could be different from the next person so see what happens!
  4. 4. Give gratitude for this moment. Feel it lighting up or filling up your heart center.

Savoring Moments Examples:

  1. 1. The first bite of an amazing meal
  2. 2. The sun hitting your face in the morning
  3. 3. The feeling of grass on your bare feet
  4. 4. The smile of a child
  5. 5. As special moment with a loved one
  6. 6. A relaxing moment within a busy day
  7. 7. Etc.
