I know many of you connect the words, “human resources” with hiring, firing and interviewing.
However, my use of this term is a little different.
When I look back at stressful time periods in my life, I realize I couldn’t have made it without the support of friends, family members and holistic therapists.
The best decision I made was to ask for help. Surprisingly this was harder than I thought!
ASK FOR HELP
Many of us forget that it’s ok to ask for help.
Think about the feeling that occurs within when you provide support to someone in need. It makes your day!
By asking someone for support not only do you get the help you need but another person gets to open their heart and that’s always a good thing.
And heads up! Don’t just go ask for help when there is a crisis. Work with friends and family to make time to get massages, meditate, do yoga and whatever else is needed for you to grow and evolve.
The healthier you are the greater impact you’ll have on your friends and family.
Invest in yourself. You’re worth it.
A classic song (written by the Beatles) to remind you it’s ok to ask for help!

As you said, the flip side of asking for help, is that it is wonderful to be asked to lend help/support. So by reaching out and asking for help, we create an opportunity for
connection.
