Children’s Corner: Flowing Emotions
We must teach our children to flow emotions and that it’s okay to express emotions in a safe and “appropriate for the emotion” way. This emotional processing choice sheet is great. Easy to make on the computer and you can plug in the strategies that work best for your child.
Once you make the chart hang it on the fridge. Teach them to use it by modeling. When you notice your child getting emotional, empower them to choose which way they want to express it.
