The key to preventing weeds from growing back is to dig out the root. That is what this meditation does. It guides you to connect with a region in your body* that holds some type of stress, tension or emotional baggage. We then travel to the center of this stressed out region in order to cultivate and release it for good. Aching back…say good bye! Tension headache…say good bye. Butterflies in the stomach…say good bye. Enjoy feeling lighter and at peace as a result of getting to the root of your stress.

The beautiful truth is that these “stress-weeds” are here for us to learn and grow from. Once we connect with the root cause of the stress we can enjoy feeling the pain drift away and learn any last lessons we are to learn. With this closure stressful tension caught up in our physiology turns into a flowering gift of growth and evolution.

*IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE MEDITATION: Before beginning this meditation locate a region in your body that holds stress or tension. You may already be familiar with a stress-filled body region or you may have to investigate a bit. If investigation is needed close your eyes and think of a recent emotional experience. When connecting with this memory notice what emotions you feel and where in the body the emotional sensations seem to be. That is your focus region for this meditation!
