It’s time to contemplate feelings of “flatness” and what belief systems or inner stress causes that feeling or way of being. Consider this a time to self inquire around this flatness you feel at times within yourself, others and life. This, undoubtably, is connected with your spiritual heart and the flow of energy in and out of that space. You are still bearing a cross of protective energy around yourself. Over the course of your life, you’ve worked with it, overcome aspects of it, and learn to live with other aspects of it. Great! However, it’s time to move from overall flatness to a deeper level of present day fullness. It’s time to let go even further.
Phase one is about examining this protective cross you bear. It’s time to unearth and better understanding it. It’s time to let it all go. This let go process will allow the amazing ways you’re impacting the world to come from an even deeper and more substantiated, within yourself, place-a more loving and fulfilling place. I know you know, intellectually, that what you’ve been doing for yourself and others is truly special. I know you feel glimpses of this new depth in your heart. But right now, loving, knowing and making choices from the heart from a new, deeper, more profound level is what life is all about. So what is to be done?
The proverbial cross to bear is old world belief bullshit. This is one of those situations in which you have to name it to tame it. Then, consciously choose to let it go. Repeat to yourself, over and over, that you don’t owe anyone anything. You’re not in debt and there are no have tos. Nobody is coming looking for anything and there’s no need to hide who or what you are. To a degree, you’ve fought, forced and pushed to overcome this part of you. How about this being a time in your life you finally say goodbye to the last of it? You’re a spiritual person. Be intuitive about this process and if needed, open up to whatever level of support you want or need to cut the final cord here. Make it ceremonial and real and know that simple, quick, efficient, and powerful is good here. Don’t make the “let go” of this cross lesson be another cross to bear. There’s no need to drag it out.
Remedy
Pick up a heavy item (stone, cinderblock, weights, water jug, etc.) and carry it. As you strain to walk with it, imagine the “cross” and the energies around it, imagine your pain, stress and/or trauma is there, in the heaviness. Make it difficult. Let it build. Carry it longer than planned. Then, at the right moment, drop it and let it all go. Drop the item and feel the weight leaving. Be open to what happens next. There’s no right or wrong. You may feel emotions, like dropping to your knees, journaling, or nothing at all. It’s all ok. If it feels right, and depending on the heavy item you chose, find a beautiful place in nature to bury your item with love. Have a “let go and release” ceremony knowing that this cross had been carried for good reason. It had positive intent when it started. It’s just not needed anymore. With love and compassion, let it all go now. Return to the grave when called to to honor and love how far you’ve come. Be open to adjusting and creating this ceremony in a way that peaks to you.
