Wow! What a busy time it’s been for me. How about you?

It’s these busy times that we have to get back to the basics and remember that staying balanced takes a mixture of effort and letting go.

If I choose one thing to go each day it’s meditation. This takes some time and a little effort but allows me to feel better, handle the day with poise and get more done.

Then, throughout the day I incorporate some easy and effortless balancing techniques that will support my peace of mind.

Many of you know I talk a lot about the power of aroma therapy and music to keep us emotionally balanced and keep our spirits lifted but lately I’ve been getting a little more esoteric with you.

The ancients new that the body would heal and find total balance if allowed to. The problem is our lifestyle, diet, limited thought processes and stress levels get in the way. Then many of us have been taught to force healing to happen.

As mentioned in the past sometimes a little will power is necessary. Yes, you may have to change the diet, go to be earlier or take some herbs.

But let’s continue to add in some effortless healing.

Effortless Healing Techniques

Bliss Technique #1: The Sacred Cup

  

Use this method three days in a row and then take a day or two break to let it take effect. Let go of any expectations about what you think will happen. Just follow the steps below and go for it!

1. Fill a small glass (not plastic cup) with the purest water you can find. Spring water from the store works great!

2. Bring to mind a current issue or ailment you have been dealing with.

3. At night, before going to bed, place the cup in front of a spiritual picture (example: Jesus, Buddha, Nature, etc.). This should be a spiritual being or a representation of God (whatever that means to you). Say a few prayers and ask that this being blesses this water specifically to heal the issue or ailment you’ve been dealing with.

4. Upon awakening, drink the water and visualize it going into the area you are feeling the physical or emotional pain/stress. Take time to pray and give gratitude for the healing.

5. ALLOW the healing to happen. Let go of expectations. Enjoy.
